Day of Prayer

“To pray is to come to the center of all life and all love.”
Henri J. M. Nouwen

In our busy lives, we rarely take a day apart to ground ourselves in God’s love presence. During this one-day retreat, we will engage our imagination, our senses, and scripture through a variety of prayer practices. In the midst of challenging his followers to change the world, Jesus invited them to “come away to a deserted place and rest” (Mark 6). As we face daily challenges in our work and ministry, we too are invited to spend time apart centering ourselves in prayer. We will begin and end our day of prayer in a time of worship.
